We have fairs and fetes and festivals coming out of our ears – which is an interesting sight! There is a huge selection of all kinds in the area: arts and crafts, flowers, antiques, horses, dogs, cattle, English rural culture, cars, steam engines, and so much more. There are also many local village festivals, markets and music gigs, and country dancing events. And if you like opera world famous Glyndebourne is only a hop, skip and a jump down the road.
There are fairs and fetes and events throughout the year. Outside ones are, of course, mainly in Spring (see above) and Summer – although, for example, Guy Fawkes night (see below) on the 5 Nov is something special. We are happy to check what is happening on the dates you chose or coordinate your visit around the dates of events that interest you.
